personalize me

It seems personalization is everywhere these days. You can find it anywhere from pillow cases, handbags, jewelry or agendas.  A friend of mine asked me if I had any information on the Louis Vuitton monogramming and I promised her a blog :)  There are 2 fabulous companies that offer personalization on leather goods at time of purchase: Louis Vuitton and Goyard.

Louis Vuitton
This Fall Louis Vuitton will start to release some wallets and small leather items under their Mon Monogram label. This service will be available in a limited amount of  boutiques and will probably have more availability in April 2012. Visit here for more information!

Goyard

Although these bags are more difficult to find than Louis' they are well worth it. They are extremely light and easy to carry and travel with. Goyard also offers a personalization service like Louis Vuitton. The stores are limited and unfortunately they are not available online. The line is carried in Barneys LA and NYC, Bergdorf Goodman, and at the San Francisco flagship, which is the only free-standing Goyard store outside of Paris. (visit goyard.fr for information or call the San Francisco store @ 415.398.1110)

personalized bedding

Another great way to personalize is on your bedding! A great store that does it for you is Au Lit in Toronto. The products must be purchased from Au Lit and done at the time of purchase! For store information visit here.

personalized jewelry

This look has been around for a long time but was made popular by Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City and became popular for young adults recently when Lauren Conrad was wearing it. This can make a great gift for a friend, make one for yourself or wear your loved ones name!

why not try your own personalization?

This way will be less expensive and a fun project to take on!
Try using stencils and the right paint to create your own look on your purses, travel bags or agendas!
Just make sure you test out your design a few times before painting on your bag! Also make sure you get the correct paint for the correct fabric it is being painted on!
