nutella puffs

I made the most delicious dessert the other day for company we had over.  I can not begin to tell you how delicious they were and how INEXPENSIVE!!! Give it a try :)

recipe a la Jade:

you will need:
- puff pastry (freezer isle)
- rolling pin
- cinnamon sugar mix (or you can use them each separately)
- nutella
- spoon
- baking tray
- eggs, butter or oil
- icing sugar

how to:
- once the puff pastry is chilled as per the instructions, roll it out as thin as you can
(the thicker the puff pastry the heavy the finished dessert will be)
- sprinkle the cinnamon sugar all over the dough- generous amounts :)
- cut the dough into small squares ( I did mine about 3" wide/square)
- drop a tea spoon size of nutella (or more if you desire) onto each square
- pull the dough up and twist to tie it off so the nutella does not drip out
- wash with your choice of eggs, butter or oil all over(i used a pastry brush)
- grease the baking tray and lay them out with space between them
- bake at the temperature and time according to your package
- when you take it out of the oven, sprinkle with icing sugar and serve right away
(if you need to make this in advance cover with tinfoil and place back in oven to rewarm for a few minutes)

for added yumminess add marshmallows!!!!
